Assetto Corsa EVO Release 0.6.3 Now Available

Assetto Corsa EVO continues its Early Access journey with Update 0.6, introducing six new cars, the arrival of Sebring International Raceway, and a focused set of improvements aimed at deepening the driving, racing, and simulation experience.

This latest release expands the car roster with a mix of modern GT race cars and iconic road machinery, while adding one of the most recognisable and demanding venues in American motorsport. Alongside the new content, Update 0.6 delivers important progress in suspension modelling, multiplayer collision behaviour, audio, telemetry support, server infrastructure, and user experience.

New Cars in Early Access 0.6

Update 0.6 adds six new vehicles to the Assetto Corsa EVO lineup:

  • Audi R8 LMS GT4 Evo
  • Ferrari 296 GT3
  • Ferrari GTO
  • Ford Mustang GT3
  • Lamborghini Countach
  • Porsche 911 GT3 R Rennsport

Together, these additions broaden the range of performance, driving styles, and eras represented in Early Access, from highly specialised GT race machinery to legendary road-going icons.

Sebring International Raceway Joins the Track Roster

Also debuting in Update 0.6 is Sebring International Raceway, one of the most iconic circuits in North American motorsport. Known for its demanding surface, heavy braking zones, and technical character, Sebring adds a distinctive new challenge to the Assetto Corsa EVO experience and provides a natural stage for the latest GT-focused additions.

Key Improvements in Update 0.6

Beyond the new content, Update 0.6 introduces several meaningful improvements across the simulation.

Suspension modelling has been further refined, with updates that improve the way cars communicate load transfer, attitude, and grip. This work strengthens the physical foundation of the driving experience across both road and race cars.

Multiplayer collisions have also been improved, with updated timing and prediction logic aimed at delivering more stable and readable wheel-to-wheel racing online.

On the audio side, reverb behaviour has been enhanced, particularly in underpasses and enclosed areas, while selected cars now benefit from more distinctive sound treatment to further reinforce their individual character.

Update 0.6 also brings an updated shared memory library together with official MoTeC support, expanding telemetry and data output capabilities for advanced users, hardware integrations, and driver analysis workflows.

Another important step in the evolution of multiplayer is the start of the delivery of self-hosted game servers. With the first release of the Assetto Corsa EVO server executable through Steam tools, players can begin creating and hosting their own servers with core configuration features, while browser-based rental options remain available through the existing platform.

From a usability perspective, the car selection flow has been revised and the controls settings page reworked to provide a cleaner and more effective starting point for players navigating and configuring the simulation.

Voortdurende ontwikkeling

Update 0.6 also includes broader progress across AI, CPU performance, gameplay systems, and other technical areas that continue to support the long-term evolution of Assetto Corsa EVO.

With new vehicles, a landmark circuit, and targeted improvements to core driving, racing, and multiplayer systems, Assetto Corsa EVO Early Access 0.6 marks another important step in the ongoing development of the simulation.
